Are SARMs Legal in Thailand? (2026 Guide)

Short answer: Thailand should not be treated as a blanket “legal SARMs” market. We could not verify an official Thai source that creates a general consumer or “research use” exemption for SARMs. The regulatory position can depend on a product’s ingredients, presentation, claims, intended purpose and import route.

What do the official rules show?

The Thai Food and Drug Administration regulates health products, including medicines. A product presented or supplied as a medicine may require authorisation under Thailand’s medicines framework. A “not for human consumption” or “research only” label does not, by itself, determine how an authority will classify a product.

Can SARMs be imported into Thailand?

There is no reliable basis for saying that every SARM shipment is permitted merely because it is labelled for research. Customs and the Thai FDA may assess the substance, formulation, quantity, documentation, claims and intended purpose. Goods may be delayed, refused or require prior permission.
